Contact and Meet Your Candidates   |   Industry Fact Sheet   |   Top Five Issues

The upcoming provincial election is a great opportunity for CRFA members to reach the politicians who will form the next government in Quebec City.

Future Members of the National Assembly need to understand the significant contribution our industry makes to the provincial economy and to their local ridings – creating jobs, investment and opportunities through our business operations and community involvement.

To effectively represent your interests, MNAs also need to understand the federal issues that matter most to foodservice operators.

CRFA/CCRQ members can help to spread the word by:

  • Meeting with local candidates to outline the significant economic and social contributions of the foodservice industry, and ensure local candidates understand the key issues facing the foodservice industry;
  • Provide feedback to CRFA/CCRQ so that we can monitor contact with candidates.

CRFA has prepared a Provincial Election Tool Kit designed to help members speak out during this provincial election. The kit includes:

  • A how-to guide for contacting and meeting with your candidates
  • An overview of Quebec's foodservice industry
  • A series of issue sheets on topics ranging from the minimum wage to trans fats
