(Jul. 24/12) After consulting with CRFA and other organizations, Nova Scotia has released “Thrive! A policy and environmental approach to healthy eating and physical activity.”
We are pleased this plan takes a balanced approach to reducing obesity and encouraging healthy eating. It endorses a national approach to reducing salts and fats, and does not recommend initiatives detrimental to the foodservice industry.
CRFA was invited to attend the release and will continue to work with the Department of Health and Wellness.
