(Jul. 5/11) CRFA is pleased to announce the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has confirmed premiums will be frozen for Ontario restaurant operators in 2011 through 2012. Per its commitment last fall, WSIB’s average premium rate increase will be two per cent.

Last fall, WSIB accepted CRFA’s recommendation for a large-scale review of the funding model, announcing a funding review chair and advisory committee. CRFA continues to participate in the WSIB funding review as part of our ongoing efforts to hold WSIB senior management accountable and ensure greater transparency and good governance.
