No wage differentials for PEI…yet
(Apr. 29/10) Despite CRFA action, PEI has decided against wage differentials.
As the province can now have more than one minimum wage due to legislative changes, CRFA saw an opportunity to push for tip and training wage differentials and actively lobbied for their introduction through presentations to politicians, meetings with business associations and issuing an industry petition.
Although differentials are not supported at this time, CRFA continues to urge government to act on the legislation and introduce them.
