Free seminar: Recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce

(Jan. 22/10) On February 3, 2010, Ontario Tourism Education Training (OTEC) will offer ‘Recruiting and Retaining a Diverse Workforce,’ a complimentary, one-day seminar for the tourism and hospitality industry. 

The seminar helps organizations recruit and retain newcomers to Canada, temporary foreign workers and internationally trained professionals.  A workshop component focused on successfully integrating diverse employee groups is included.  Work permits, temporary foreign worker units and options for immigrating to Canada will be discussed.

Scheduled to run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the seminar will take place at Ontario Investment Centre, 250 Yonge Street, Toronto.

The seminar is offered in partnership with Citizenship & Immigration Canada, Service Canada, the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship & Immigration, and the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development & Trade.
