Amended liquor service bylaw good news for Vancouver restaurants

(Dec. 16/09) Vancouver has dropped the controversial food-to-liquor ratio portion of its food primary liquor hours extension bylaw originally passed in October.  Contentious provisions on specific proportional sales in licensed restaurants have been eliminated.

CRFA also supports BCRFA’s request for further bylaw amendments to extend weekday food primary liquor service time to 2 a.m. during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
